Mohan Babu's appeal to postpone the celebrations of 100
Years of Indian Cinema just 15 days before the event has been strongly
criticized by the organisers.
Producer Katragadda Prasad found fault with Mohan Babu for releasing a
statement to the press regarding the issue. "We have been working on the
celebrations since 6 months. It's unfair to ask for a postponement just 15 days
before the event. I request him not to make Telugus a laughing stock in front
of other Film Industries. Even Vishnu and Lakshmi were playing key roles in the
celebrations," he said Industry folks have been questioning why don't Mohan Babu ask his son Manoj to
postpone the release of 'Potugadu' (September 13) when the people are in pain.
