Kangana Suggests Sanskrit Over Hindi As Indian National Language

Multiple National Award winner Kangana Ranaut is an actress who noway shies down from speaking her mind. She lately spoke about the ongoing contestation over calling Hindi a public language at the caravan launch event of her forthcoming film'Dhaakad'. The recent tweets of Bollywood star idol Ajay Devgn and Kannada idol Kiccha Sudeep led to a huge debate over the public language of our country. Indeed a many politicians got involved in this making it a big issue.

Speaking at the event Kangana participated her opinion on this by saying,"We're a country of a lot of diversities, languages, and societies. And it's our birthright to feel proud of our separate culture and language. I'm a Pahadi. Still, when we consider our nation, in order to make it one unit, we need a thread to connect all of us together. When the constitution was made, Hindi came a public language. And now when you say Tamil is actually aged than Hindi, it should be noted that Sanskrit is aged than that.

In my opinion, Sanskrit should be our public language, because Kannada, Tamil, Gujarati, Hindi, all these languages began from Sanskrit. I don't have the answer if you ask me if so, why Sanskrit was not made our public language rather of Hindi. Those opinions would have been made during a certain time. There are a lot of layers to this issue. And when you're talking about language, you should be apprehensive of all these layers. When you deny Hindi, you're denying the constitution and the government of Delhi."

Adding to it, Kangana stated,"When you go abroad, the German, Spanish, French-they're veritably proud of their language. But no matter how dark the social history is, fortunately, or unfortunately, English has come that link. Moment indeed within our country we're using English as the link to communicate.

Should that be the link? Or should Hindi, Sanskrit, or Tamil be that link? We've to decide that. We've to make that call. So keeping all these in mind, a decisive call should be taken.

As of now, Hindi is the public language. And when Ajay Devgn ji said, Hindi is our public language, he's not wrong. But I understand the sentiment of Sudeep and he's not wrong moreover. And if people saying that Kannada and Tamil are aged than Hindi, also they are not wrong moreover. Also, it's veritably unfortunate that there's a debate on South and North flicks. They've always entered stepmotherly treatment and it should not have been so in the first place.

It's also veritably unfortunate that we've noway had a South actor in Bollywood as a leading actor. However, I would say Sanskrit is the licit language, from which German, If effects were under my control. Why do not we've the Sanskrit language as the public language? Why is Sanskrit not obligatory in seminaries? I do not know that."
